The nubuk waterproof leather and the additional ‘rubber includes’ at tongue for snow-shoe binding ensured my vote. Seam sealed construction, low weight and the soft & gripping sole layers were enough to take care of the requisite protection regime.

As a youngster I had done quite a few trail trips on most rugged abandons. My needs at that age were quite the same as anyone else’s. Nevertheless, I had to pay attention to things like grip, midfoot stability and longer lacing system. The fatigue management was another factor of importance. Titanium Zephyr and Trail Meister from Columbia are the prominent ones I ever cherish as owning.

As for back packs Umatilla™ Cyberpack and Ord Cyberpack had been my favorites for long. Light reflectivity and non-abrasive polyester exterior with several zipper closeable utility compartments was the things to catch my attention. Although, for a snow trek packs/bags need a lot more weather protection features, my inclination to use these as organizers adaptable to work, studies or travel suited well.
